A 34-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a mother-of-two 15 years ago.

Mark Weston appeared at the Old Bailey accused of murdering Vikki Thompson, 30, in a country lane in Oxfordshire in August 1995.

She was discovered with serious head injuries near her home in Ascott-under-Wychwood and died six days later.

Weston, who is from the same village, was remanded in custody to face trial at Reading Crown Court on 29 November.
