Man charged over death in Top Valley, Nottingham

A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a man in Nottingham.

Richard Rovetto, 29, of Stanhope Crescent, Arnold, was injured during an attack in Bestwood Park Drive at about 02:00 BST on Sunday.

He was taken to hospital but later died. A post-mortem examination found he died of head injuries.

Scott Humphrey, 26, of Queens Bower Road in Bestwood Park, was remanded in custody by magistrates in Nottingham.

He is due to appear at crown court at a later date.
