'Flashing light' police car involved in West Bridgford crash

Two police officers were injured when their unmarked car collided with another vehicle as they answered an emergency call in Nottingham.

The crash happened on Radcliffe Road in West Bridgford on Saturday night.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said the vehicle's siren and flashing lights were on at the time.

The 44-year-old driver in the other vehicle also suffered minor injuries. Radcliffe Road was closed until 03:00 GMT while the cars were recovered.
