Sneinton car crash: Two arrested after deaths

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following a crash in Nottingham in which two men died.

It is believed the silver car the victims were travelling in hit a tree by the side of Carlton Road, Sneinton, at about 23:20 GMT on Tuesday.

Police said the men died at the scene. The road reopened at about 07:00 GMT after it had been closed for forensic examinations.

The pair, aged 21 and 24, were bailed pending further enquiries.
