Adam Paul Smith and Guy Bennett named as Ravenshead crash victims

Two men who died in a head-on crash with a van in a Nottinghamshire village have been named by police.

The collision between a Fiat Punto and Transit van happened in Main Road, Ravenshead, at about 20:20 GMT on Sunday.

Adam Paul Smith, 18, and Guy Bennett, 19, both from the Mansfield area, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the van suffered minor injuries. Police have appealed for more information.
