Nottinghamshire Police investigate Everton 'body find'

Police say they have found what they believe to be a body on farmland in a Nottinghamshire village.

Officers received a call from a member of the public on Saturday and a cordon was set up around the farmland in Everton, in the north of the county.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said the inquiries were "currently ongoing".

He added the cordon would remain in place while forensic examinations took place.
