Man, 27, charged with attempted murder after double stabbing

A 27-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after two people were stabbed at a house in Nottinghamshire.

Police were called to Alexandra Crescent, Beeston, at about 05:40 BST, to find a 25-year-old man with stab wounds.

A woman, 23, was also stabbed in her hand.

The man, from Beeston, has been remanded to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The two victims were taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre, where the man remains in a stable condition.
