Old Basford pub beer garden shooting: Two men bailed

Two men arrested over a shooting in a beer garden at a Nottingham pub have been released on bail.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and a 29-year-old man was held on suspicion of assisting an offender.

The victim, a 23-year-old woman, suffered a single gunshot wound at The Vernon, Old Basford, on 17 August.

Three men aged 22, 23 and 38, and a woman, 20, who were arrested earlier over the shooting, remain on bail.

The injured woman was treated at the Queen's Medical Centre and is recovering, police said.
