BPR Medical wins award for oxygen fire valve
A Nottinghamshire firm has won a Queen's Award for Enterprise after inventing a device which limits damage caused by medical oxygen tubes catching fire.
BPR Medical, which developed the firebreak valve at its base in Mansfield, has seen it deployed in the UK and Germany and is now hoping to break into the US market.
