Police uncover Hucknall cannabis factory

Policewoman at scene Police said it would take them several days to dismantle the factory

Police in Nottinghamshire have uncovered a cannabis factory housing more than 3,000 plants.

Officers found the crop, thought to have a street value of more than £1.5m, during a search of a building on Watnall Road in Hucknall on Tuesday.

Insp Nick Butler said the factory was a "sophisticated set-up" and that two men had been arrested.

Investigators are expected to remain at the scene for several days while the factory is dismantled.
