Bulwell shooting reports: 29-year-old man arrested

A man has been arrested after shots were reportedly fired in a Nottingham street.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to Hucknall Lane, in Bulwell, shortly after 16:00 BST on 3 October.

Officers searched the area but found nobody had been injured and there was no damaged property.

A 29-year-old man, from Bestwood, has now been questioned and released on bail pending further inquiries. Police have appealed for witnesses.

The force said it did not believe the incident was linked to reports of a gun being fired in the Vernon Road area of Basford the previous evening.
