Sneinton murder probe post mortem 'inconclusive'

Police at scene A police cordon remains in place at the site where the body was found

A post-mortem examination on a man's body found in Nottingham has proved inconclusive, police say.

Officers searching for a missing man found the body on land between Burrows Court and Rossington Road in Sneinton on Wednesday.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm before the body was discovered but was released without charge on Friday.

Officers are treating the man's death as murder.

Cordons remain in place at the site where the body was found and at addresses in Rossington Road and Lord Nelson Street.
