Woman arrested following stabbing in Chilwell

Police tape around a property at Robinson Court in Chilwell Police have closed a roundabout near to the scene of the stabbing

A woman has been arrested after a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the chest in Nottinghamshire.

Police said the victim was injured near the Robinson Court area of Chilwell at about 05:00 BST on Tuesday.

The man is being treated at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre. No one else was injured.

The woman, who is in her twenties, has been arrested in connection with the stabbing and will be interviewed by Nottinghamshire Police.

The Corn Mill roundabout has been closed at Ranson Road and Woodward Avenue while police carry out an investigation.
