Medical supplies van stolen from Jacksdale pharmacy

Lexon van Police have warned that some of the medication could be extremely harmful

A van carrying "potentially lethal" medication has been stolen from outside a pharmacy in a Nottinghamshire village.

The white Ford Transit, which has "Lexon" emblazoned on the side, was taken from outside Acorn Pharmacy in Jacksdale, near Mansfield, on Friday.

Police said it was possible the drugs could be sold on and were "potentially life-threatening if taken incorrectly".

Officers believe the offender may have taken the van into Derbyshire.

The vehicle has the registration plate BL11 LZH.

PC Lee Barker said: "I urge anyone with information to come forward so that we can ensure no one is taken ill.

"The person who stole the van may decide to sell them on to others."
