Thieves in Bingham use tractor to steal cash machine

Hole left after cash machine theft in Bingham Police have appealed for information about the theft

Part of a Nottinghamshire town's centre is cordoned off after thieves using a tractor stole a cash machine from the wall of a bank.

Officers were called to the Market Place branch of Natwest in Bingham at about 02:45 GMT.

Building inspections are being carried out to make sure the structure is safe in case the tractor caused any further damage.

Church Street is closed in both directions, police said.

Anyone with information about the theft should contact Nottinghamshire Police.
