Thousands of suspects 'checked' in Alan Wood murder case

An investigation into the murder of a Lincolnshire man who was tortured in his home has looked at 16,000 possible suspects, Lincolnshire Police has said.

The two-year investigation into the death of Alan Wood near Louth is one of the biggest ever carried out by the force.

Despite a handful of arrests, a DNA profile and CCTV footage, no charges have been brought and the killers remain at large.
