Man accused of gunpoint robbery in Nottingham

A 28-year-old man has been charged with robbing a woman at gunpoint in Nottingham.

The 49-year-old was threatened during the incident on Moor Street, Netherfield, at noon on Wednesday.

Ashley Harris, of 15 Maud Street, New Basford, is accused of robbery, possession of a firearm and production of cannabis.

He was remanded into custody and will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 17 September.

A 24-year-old woman has been released on bail.
