Corby Town FC honours VC soldier James Ashworth

Hundreds of people have turned out to see a war hero honoured by his local football club in Northamptonshire.

L/Corp James Ashworth, who was killed in Afghanistan, was awarded the Victoria Cross for gallantry.

He played for the youth team at Corby Town before joining the Army.

One of the stands at the Corby Town ground has been named in his memory.
