Northampton House of Fraser knife incident: Woman charged

Grosvenor Centre, Northampton The incident happened at the Grosvenor Centre store in Northampton

Police have charged a 36-year-old woman with affray and having an offensive weapon after a House of Fraser store in Northampton had to be evacuated.

Officers were called to the Grosvenor Centre store on Sunday after a woman was seen damaging goods.

Police later used a pepper spray to restrain a woman.

Sian Davies, 36, of no fixed address, was due to appear before magistrates in Northampton.
