Women released after Northampton Lawrence Court flat fall

Two women who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man fell out of a block of flats have been released without charge.

A 28-year-old man was airlifted to hospital after being found on the pavement in Lawrence Court, Northampton, on 23 August.

Northamptonshire Police said the man had recovered from his injuries, which were not as serious as first believed.

Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

It is believed the man fell from the first floor at about 09:20 BST. The two women were arrested soon afterwards.
