Fire breaks out at Blisworth business parkContinue reading the main story
About 50 firefighters have been tackling a large blaze at a business park in Northamptonshire.
The fire started at the JBJ site in Northampton Road, Blisworth, at about 10.30 BST, creating a large plume of black smoke.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was believed the blaze started at a tile warehouse, with three surrounding units also destroyed.
No-one has been hurt in the fire, which is not thought to be suspicious.
The fire service said two people who lived opposite the blaze had to be evacuated from their house and firefighters had been visiting other nearby homes to tell people to close their windows because of the smoke.
Power has also been switched off in the area, causing disruption to some homes and businesses.
Crews are expected to be damping down the fire into the night, but it is now under control, a spokeswoman said.
BBC reporter Bryony MacKenzie, who was passing the fire on a train from Manchester to London, said it looked "huge" and could see the flames from a long distance away.
