Northampton coin dealer Giuseppe Miceli killing: Man charged with murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a 72-year-old coin and medal trader in Northampton.

Giuseppe Miceli, who ran his trading business from home, was found dead at his home in Bants Lane, Duston, at about 13:45 BST on Saturday.

A post-mortem examination revealed that he died from head injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Mark Ellson, 40, of Wellingborough, is due to appear in Northampton Magistrates' Court later.
