Women's underwear and sex toys thief jailed in Northampton

A man has been jailed for three years for stealing women's underwear and sex toys from a home in Northampton.

Mark Cox, 22, of Heathville, Northampton, stole the items from a house in Tanner Street in two separate burglaries between 21 February and 4 March, Northampton Crown Court heard.

Cox admitted two counts of burglary, one charge of possessing a CS gas spray and possessing a police uniform.

He had a Northamptonshire police helmet and a stab vest, the court heard.

The sentencing took place on Tuesday after Cox had admitted the offences at Northampton Magistrates Court
