Duston and Rowan Gate expansion plans go to cabinet

A decision is due this week on whether to expand two schools in parts of Northamptonshire due to more houses being built.

Duston School, in Northampton, would get 420 more primary places at a cost of £4m.

Rowan Gate special primary school, in Wellingborough, could get a £1.4m 56-place annexe to meet growing demand for special needs provision.

Northamptonshire County Council cabinet will consider the schemes on Thursday.
