Daventry bar ordered to shut early over disorder reports
A bar in Northamptonshire has been forced to shut early after reports of licence breaches and disorder.
Number 1 bar in North Street, Daventry, had an alcohol licence until midnight and could serve food till 03:00.
A district council committee has revoked the licence and ordered the bar to close at 23:00.
The bar operator has three weeks to lodge an appeal to magistrates and the premises can trade under its original licence until then.
