Corby David Ross death: Two more arrests over burglary

Les Ross David Ross, known as Les, was a partner in Rubix nightclub in Corby

Two more people have been arrested over a burglary at the home of a 39-year-old nightclub manager who was later found dead at a hotel in Northamptonshire.

David Ross's home in Chelveston Drive, Corby, was burgled on 14 December.

His body was found at the Village Express Hotel in Corby on 17 December.

On Friday, a 22-year-old Corby man was arrested and bailed. Two more men, aged 21 and 18, both from Corby, were arrested on Saturday, and released on police bail pending further enquiries.

On Monday police spoke to members of the public in The Jamb and High Street areas of Corby.

Det Ch Insp Martin Kinchin, who is leading the murder inquiry, said: "It now seems likely that the burglary at Mr Ross's home address occurred late on Friday 14 December, while he was at work.

"In that burglary, his Blackberry and iPhone were stolen, along with a Playbook tablet and a laptop computer. It is very likely that this property has now been sold on but we are actively looking to recover these items and I anticipate further arrests will be made."

Mr Ross, who was well known in Corby and ran the Rubix club in the town, had suffered head injuries.
