Canal death boy's father calls for new safety measures

The father of a two-year-old boy who died after falling in the Grand Union Canal has called for increased safety measures.

Jehovah Pembele, also known as Giovani, disappeared from his Northampton home on Saturday, sparking a major search by the police, family and neighbours.

He was found in the canal and pronounced dead in hospital on Sunday.
