Thousands of Formula 1 fans are expected to attend the British Grand Prix at Silverstone over the weekend.
The three-day event in Northamptonshire saw a sell-out crowd of about 150,000 last year with more than 120,000 attending on race day.
The recent wet weather has prompted organisers to put in extra measures for fans.
They are asking spectators to come prepared for wet and muddy weather.
Duncan Wheeler, from the Woodlands Campsite in Silverstone, said: "We are parking all of the cars in a separate area where they are out of the way."
Richard Phillips, managing director of Silverstone Circuits Limited, said: "It's been an incredible start to the season, hopefully we'll see a British driver win his home race and celebrating on the top step of the podium."
