Sex attack on 39-year-old woman in Northampton

A 39-year-old woman has been sexually assaulted in an alley in Northampton.

The woman was walking along College Street towards the Boston Clipper pub when a man grabbed her by the arm at about 00:15 BST on 25 March.

He pulled her into the alley between College Street and The Drapery and attacked her.

The woman screamed and kicked him and the man ran off towards The Drapery. The woman spoke to a man and a woman who walked her to a taxi.

The man is described as a white, 6ft (1.8m) tall in his late 20s or early 30s, of slim build and with short, spiky brown hair.
