Body found on A45 in Northamptonshire was missing man
Philip Holmes went missing from his home in Wellingborough
Human remains found on a Northamptonshire road have been identified as those of man who went missing in 2005.
The body was found at the side of the A45 dual-carriageway near Earls Barton on 30 August 2011.
Forensic tests confirmed it was that of Philip John Holmes, 55, who was reported missing from his home in Wellingborough by his carers.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
