Danny the listening dog's efforts recognised


A greyhound's efforts in helping children to learn to read has been recognised with an award.

The International Fund for Animal Welfare has acknowledged the support listening dog Danny gives to young readers.

Danny, who was found as a three-month-old stray on the streets of Cork in Ireland, is owned by Danny Nevett, of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
