Call for more secure truck stops in Northamptonshire

Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP) wants more safe and secure overnight truck stops in the county.

The county's central location means that much of the UK's freight is likely to pass through Northamptonshire.

There are currently 450 overnight spaces in the county which the NEP said was not enough.

It also wants areas on industrial estates where lorries can wait safely until they deliver their goods.
