Woman driving on wrong side of A47 in Norfolk surrenders licence

A woman has surrendered her driving licence after been pulled over for driving on the wrong side of a dual carriageway in Norfolk.

Police said 65 people called to say they had seen the elderly woman driving westwards on the eastbound carriageway of the A47, near Norwich, on Saturday morning.

Officers managed to stop her, near to the Broadland Business Park, at 11:35 BST.

No-one was hurt.

A spokesperson for the police said the woman was looked after by officers until her family collected her.

Tony Bennett captured footage of the incident, using a camera fixed to his car.
