Man 'set alight' at Long John's Bar in Great Yarmouth

Britannia Pier Police were called to the nightclub at Britannia Pier in the early hours after a man from Sheffield was reported to have been set alight

A man remains in hospital with serious burns after being set on fire inside a Norfolk seaside nightclub on Sunday.

The 34-year-old victim suffered wounds to his hands and body during a "disturbance" involving a group of men at Long John's Bar in Great Yarmouth.

Police arrested four men aged 24, 26, 28 and 33 who were later released on bail. They and the victim are from the Sheffield area.

The man is understood to be in a stable condition at James Paget Hospital.

Police have asked for anybody who saw the attack at about 01:30 BST to contact them.
