Fire crews remain at former Martham mushroom factory site

Fire at old mushroom farm at Martham A number of local residents were evacuated to temporary shelter as a precaution

Crews remain at the scene of a fire which tore through a former mushroom factory in Norfolk.

The fire started at the site in Martham, near Great Yarmouth, at about 16:15 GMT on Friday.

A number of people living nearby had to take shelter at a community centre, Norfolk Police said.

Police and fire officers are investigating the cause of the blaze. It is the second fire at the property in two months.
