Downham Market fire station goes up in flames

11 March 2014 Last updated at 14:53 GMT

Dozens of firefighters were called out to deal with a blaze - at a fire station.

The retained fire crew at Downham Market in Norfolk could do nothing because their own fire engine was caught up in the blaze in the building which was not fitted with sprinklers.

Colleagues from nearby stations were sent to put out the fire.
