DGT Structures: Administration for Norfolk steel company

DGT in Lenwade, Norfolk Staff at DGT Structures have been told to expect redundancies

Redundancies are expected at a steel contractor in Norfolk after it has been placed into administration.

DGT Structures, based at Lenwade, between Fakenham and Norwich, employs 119 people.

Administrators McTear Williams and Wood were called in earlier after it was said contracts had been "difficult".

Chris Williams, from the administrators, said he could not "beat around the bush" on the likelihood of a "slim downed workforce".

He added they would have to look at what could be done to "maximise the business going forward".

"We'll be doing all we can to save the business and find a new buyer for it."

Mr Williams said a number of people had already expressed an interest in the company.
