Norfolk PC arrested in fraud and money laundering probe

A serving police officer in Norfolk has been arrested with two other people in connection with a fraud investigation.

A man and a woman, both in their 30s, and a second woman in her 50s were held in Norwich on Thursday.

They were arrested by detectives from a specialist unit on suspicion of fraud and money laundering.

The Norfolk Police constable has been suspended from duty and the matter referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).

All three have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
