Saxlingham Nethergate deaths: Letters sent to couple's friends

A married couple were found dead after friends received letters saying they had taken their own lives, an inquest has heard.

Susan Williams, 66, and Reginald Williams, 72, were discovered by police at their home in Saxlingham Nethergate, Norfolk, last Thursday.

Their deaths are not being treated as suspicious. Norfolk Police said there was no sign of a struggle or forced entry to the property.

The inquest has been adjourned.

The letters sent to friends of the couple said their bodies would be found at home, the inquest at Norwich Coroner's Court heard.

An officer discovered the bodies seated, on the ground floor of the property, and identified them via their passports.
