A fire has broken out at a car scrap yard in Norfolk, sending plumes of smoke into the air that could be seen from several miles away.

More than 40 firefighters are tackling the blaze at Hainford Hall, which is believed to involve a "number of vehicles".

A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said crews were called to the blaze, off the A140 between Horsham St Faith and Hevingham, at 13:55 GMT.

Police are also at the fire scene.
