Thieves have stolen 500 partridges from a farm in Norfolk in two night-time raids, police said.

About half of the birds were taken from the farm near Fakenham on the night of 17 September, with the remainder stolen the following day.

The thieves took the game birds, worth about £4 each, from a pen in a field.

Police say they want to hear from anyone who has been "offered a lot of partridges for sale". The birds' feeders were also taken.
