Woman dies after stock car event in King's Lynn

A 32-year-old woman has died after being hit by a minibus following a stock car racing event at the Norfolk Arena in King's Lynn.

The pedestrian was struck by a Renault Trafic minibus on Saddlebow Road at 23:20 BST on Saturday after the International Stock Car World Final.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information is asked to call Norfolk Police.

A force spokesman said: "Due to the scale of the event the roads were very busy at the time with both pedestrians and vehicles when the incident took place."
