Norfolk landlords' nightmare with jailed fraudster

27 August 2013 Last updated at 14:15 BST

A couple from Norfolk said their lives had been almost ruined by a fraudster who pretended to be a millionaire.

Landlords Carl and Audrey Brighty said accountant Sarah Coles, 41, of Crostwick Lane, Spixworth, had left them £40,000 out of pocket.

Norwich Crown Court heard how Coles, who rented the couple's house in Rackheath, also stole more than £17,000 from her employer, a ground maintenance firm in Sprowston.

She was sentenced to two years in prison.
