Royal Norfolk Show organisers 'confident of future'

27 June 2013 Last updated at 14:18 BST

Organisers of the two-day Royal Norfolk Show - which costs £1m and is due to break even - say they believe it can continue in the years to come.

Many agricultural shows in the UK were cancelled last year due to bad weather, with the East of England Show in Peterborough closed altogether because it incurred such heavy losses.

The Royal Norfolk Show, which began in 1847, attracted 40,000 visitors to the showground near Norwich on Wednesday, with the same figure expected on Thursday.
