An inquest into the death of a 12-year-old girl who died after an accident in a school gym has opened.

It is believed Trevyn Hope Joslin, from Thorpe Marriott near Norwich, fell from a pommel horse and hit her head on a crash mat at Taverham High School.

She died at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge on 19 March, a week after the accident.

Head teacher Ron Munson described the year eight pupil as a "sunny" and "bright" student.
