Uniglaze goes into administration

Almost 300 jobs are under threat after a Norfolk door and window company went into administration.

Uniglaze had financial problems in 2011, but reported a 35% surge in orders between spring and August this year and took on 19 extra staff.

Administrators KPMG has been called in with the aim of selling the company as a going concern.

Uniglaze director Phillip Davies said it was for KPMG to comment but confirmed it intended to sell.
