Ex-Norfolk Police officer John Clack on child sex charges

A former Norfolk police officer is to stand trial accused of sexual offences against children, including two charges of attempted rape of a girl under 16.

John Clack, 53, of Earlham Court, Norwich, is accused of carrying out 14 offences between 1997 and 2004.

The charges also include seven allegations of indecent assault and five counts of indecency with a child.

He denied the charges at Norwich Crown Court and his trial is due to start on 26 November.
