Battle to save old RAF runway at Coltishall
Hundreds of people living at a former RAF base in Norfolk have signed a petition demanding that a plan to dig up the runway is turned down.
Norfolk County Council is hoping to buy the site at Coltishall and return most of it to farmland.
The runway, used during the Battle of Britain, would be stripped out and the hard core used to build a road around Norwich.
