Wells-next-the-Sea body find not suspicious: Police

The discovery of a woman's body in waters off a north Norfolk seaside resort is not being treated as suspicious, police said.

Officers were alerted to the discovery near the beach at Wells-next-the-Sea shortly after 10:00 BST on Thursday.

A police spokesperson said that formal identification had not yet been carried out, so further details of the woman would not be released.

The coroner had been informed, the spokesperson added.
