Great Yarmouth teenager charged over crash death

A teenager from Norfolk has appeared in court charged with causing the death of her friend by careless driving.

Eleanor Coleman, 19, of Runham, Great Yarmouth, was driving when her car hit a lorry parked in a lay-by on the A47 in north Burlingham on 1 November.

Ellie Tweed, 18, a passenger in the car, was killed. Miss Coleman and two other passengers were injured.

Miss Coleman was bailed to return to Norwich Magistrates' Court in September.
